Gaming fans can make or break a game release. To launch Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the biggest game in PS5 history, PlayStation needed an idea that would ignite the fandom around the world.
With an out-of-control 7m truck saved by two Spider-Men, while NPC police stood guard, ‘The Spectacular Save’ brought the game’s blockbuster action to the streets of Sydney. The scene compelled influencers and fans to share it on Social Media, igniting an explosion of online praise.
